Upgraded from the previous generation, this 2nd Generation Dash Cam Hardwire Kit offers a Type-C USB connector. It supports input voltages between 12V-24V and delivers a stable 5V, 2.5A output. The low voltage protection feature automatically cuts off power at 11.6V for 12V vehicles and 23.5V for 24V vehicles, safeguarding against battery depletion.
With a cable length of 11.8ft/3.61m, this hardwire kit is suitable for most car models. It comes with Add a Circuit Fuses, ensuring compatibility with popular dash cam models like REDTIGER F7N/T27/T700, VIOFO A229, Rove R3, AZDOME M560, Pelsee P12/P10 Pro, Vantrue N4, N2S, X4S, E1, E2, S2, T3, and WOLFBOX i07/G900/G850/G840S G840H mirror cams, GPS navigators, and radar detectors.
The hardwire kit offers two operational modes: a direct battery connection for 24/7 power, and an ACC mode that automatically switches when the parking mode is turned off, ensuring enough power to start the vehicle.
For a hassle-free installation, the package includes an installation crowbar to assist with opening the car fuse box. Additionally, it comes with 4 fused breakout cables, allowing you to connect the accessory cable (red) to a fused power source that remains live whether the engine is on or off, and the ground wire (black) to a metal part of the fuse box (the negative pole of the power supply, usually fixed on a screw).
